Performance Information

Children enter our nursery and reception classes broadly inline with national expectations for children of their age.
The progress that each child makes is closely monitored throughout their time here at Stannington First School. Our staff get to know the pupils well and use this knowledge to adapt their planning and teaching to encourage all of our pupils to make good or better progress across the curriculum.
Pupil progress is discussed at termly review meetings between class teachers and the leadership team so that we can quickly identify any pupils who are not making progress and consider the best options to support them. 
As we are a First School, we have no available data for the end of KS2. We do have our school internal performance information for each cohort.
